I started my day in a really good space. Then I arrived at work, still feeling great but a friend posted something on Facebook that made me sad! Not sad for myself, but rather sad for the family that I read about in the story, see here! It also made me feel so incredibly grateful for the life that I have! I am exceptionally exceptionally blessed, and I’m not talking about money and material things! True, I have worked my entire life to be in the place that I am today and with that comes a bit of earned privilege; however, this is not where my wealth lies.

My wealth can be found in my healthy family and loved ones. It lies in the daily routine where I get to wake up every morning and open my eyes to see a new day, it is that I get to laugh, cry, feel… That I get to love and be apart of this world (which I hope to never ever take for granted). Without any of these things everything else pales in comparison, EVERYTHING!

I know that this blog mostly revolves around fashion but it also includes lifestyle governed by a healthy mentality. I hope to raise more awareness and discuss other things that are important to our growth and life.

Speaking of Fashion, can we talk about my new coat? I took her for a spin the other day and she felt heavenly. It’s crazy how Burberry basically has ownership over such a classic and timeless print! It goes with just about everything! I wore it with a beautiful dress that I purchased from the Zara sale this summer! Yes, that same sale that I purchased 70% of my summer wardrobe from.
