Happy Sunday my friends!
I did some quick research as to why the “no white after Labor Day rule” was invented and in part there was some B.S. about classism amongst other things. In any case, I never liked this rule and I don’t think I truly accepted it as law. Fast forward to now and I fully embrace all of my white clothing! Naturally, the more summer pieces I pack away for another time, but I fully embrace all of my Winter Whites! In fact, I think that black women especially look so darn amazing in white… it just pops against our skin-tone unlike anyone else. I am casually looking for a pair of white pumps… I avoided the louboutin ones but I think those might be the very best of what I’ve seen in the market. I’ll let you know how my search turns out.
