Happy Tuesday!

I just came back from the most inspiring Power-Women breakfast, it was all of my dreams come alive! I will give you an update on the contents of the meeting soon, but I am so inspired! I love being around women, I love listening to them, I love women who get after it and who have their feet planted on solid ground! It encourages me to be better, to do better and to become the best version of me!
Not to worry, I did not wear this outfit to said breakfast, although that would have been quite interesting, lol! I actually wore my red suit that I posted yesterday and it was perfect! This outfit, I recently wore to a surprise birthday party! Funny story, the party was for a friend of my husband’s who I have become friendly with. I mention this to say that my husband was the one who got the invite. I remember asking him was there a dress code, to which he responded “No, come as you are”! Okay sir! Friends and Family, why did I show-up at the event and everyone was wearing all black and very dressed-up. I looked at my husband incredulously and was like “there was a dress code”?! Coincidently, he just so happened to be wearing all back; (YO!!!!) albeit a little bit more casual than most of the folks there, but all black nonetheless! I felt badly because I always try to adhere to event dress-codes. I was thankfully saved when I saw that two other people were wearing white blazers and not in all black! Whew~…Is is just my husband who never pays attention to the details?!
The event turned out great and I had a wonderful time, it felt good to be out with grown-ups, I had not done that in a while. Before I go away, let’s talk about:

3 Things to Note about today’s post!

    • Keep a vision board, and try your best to stick to it. I have been stalking these leggings for a very long time, waiting for an affordable version to be released! When Zara launched this collection, I quickly jumped on it with little hesitation
    • Invest in good quality bodysuits, they are the base for many great outfits! They keep everything flushed and help to provide a backdrop for more dramatic or statement pieces
    • Pick a palette and stick to it 90% of the time. Create a uniform and work within those confines, it will make your life easier along with your shopping
