Happy Friday Eve!
It’s 75 degrees today ya’ll, 75 degrees! I think I’ll be taking two walks around the block because I’m so deliriously happy that the sun came out! Sticking with my content line-up for this week (check my Instagram feed for details), I am showcasing how I rocked my new Giuseppe Zanotti kitten heels! I have always liked the color pink, but now I think its gone full-fledge love affair. The shades of pink are so very pretty that I can never pass it up. Having said that, I couldn’t wait to wear these new blush heels. I decided to take them for a spin in a skirt that has not seen the light of day for at least 3 years! I was doing some cleaning and came across it, and my face instantly lit up! I paired it with an “intentionally” distressed sweater that is perfect for cooler summer days. Simple accessories completed the overall look.
I should go on record to say that kitten heels are the perfect height for shorter skirts. It takes the sex appeal down a notch and helps to make shorter skirts more day-wear appropriate. My days of super tight clothing, very short dresses/skirts paired with heels are long gone. Not that anything is wrong with that look; God knows I’ve had my fun with it. However, as I’ve developed my style and gotten more mature I want to be more polished than sexy. Make no mistake, once can be polished and understatedly sexy at the same time. What I love about that is the fact that it is not so overt.
