Happy Saturday Peeps!
The sun is out so I’m off to play. First I need to do something with this hair of mine. I’d like to try one of those long-ponytail hairdo’s that I’ve been seeing a lot of lately. I love a good up-do, the only thing is that it doesn’t last very long so I’d need to figure out what to do with my hair soon after that. I’ve loved the short hair but I’m sort of over it at this point. How often do you ladies change your hair do? I am all about keeping what works for you but exploration is also a good idea, for if we don’t try anything new we’ll never know what else might be a good look. I say all of this as I twist my daughter’s hair into the same hair-style she rocked last week, lol. It’s so much fun being a woman, but it is also very difficult to keep up with all the maintenance we need to stay fly. With all of that said, I am still looking forward to figuring out my next look and getting your opinions.

In the meantime, let’s switch gears to this dress. I love it!!!! It’s such a playful look that i’ve always wanted to try out. Carrie Bradshaw made the tulle skirt super popular in Sex and The City and since then I’ve been meaning to try out tulle skirts with a t-shirt pairing. The colors are usually black and sometimes pink tulle, so when I saw this white option with a strapless top built in, I couldn’t resit. For the first outing, I’ve paired it with a simple colorful jacket but I can’t wait to style it with a T-shirt and belt. Style should never be taken too seriously, clothing is about expression and if you can’t express a bit of lightness then it makes you less approachable. Let your wardrobe be the exclamation point to your mood and your personality or rather use it to denote parts of your personality that you may not be able to express. Wishing you all a great Saturday filled with wonder!
