Happy Friday!
What a week I’ve had, I am looking forward to slowing everything down this weekend. How about you guys? Miami seems to be the move for many New Yorkers this weekend, hoping they all stay safe and well.
I wanted to give a shout out to a blogger I follow Blair Eadie of Atlantic-Pacific. I love her style and she’s just recently announced a collaboration with Nordstrom that will be releasing this month and I can’t wait to shop her collection. I get asked a lot about where I shop and since this is something I intend to support I wanted to share. I recently started following this black female comedian named JessHilarious_Official, (I am pretty late in this discovery, I admit). Nonetheless, I think she is so funny, perhaps not to everyone’s taste but she’s funny to me. It appears that she started her comedy on Social Media and has since grown quite the following. She just got picked up for a pilot show named Rel on Fox. Through her hard work, dedication and consistency she’s reaping the rewards of her labor. I love seeing stories like this, not only is it dope especially for a black woman but it also a reminder that anything we want is truly within our grasp, we just have to work hard for it and keep chasing the dream. This weekend as you rest and recharge, I’d like you to think about how you are going to continue the work to make your dream a reality. Looking forward to seeing you WIN. Have a great weekend guys!
