Hey Guys,
Happy Monday! It’s back to the grind stone, but I do hope you all enjoyed the time off and that is was well spent. I don’t know how I accomplished this but I managed to avoid doing “any shopping” whatsoever this weekend. This is near impossible for me, but it was so worth it. I got two full days of rest and really enjoyed some time alone as well as with my family. I don’t think I will fare as well today because the sales are sure to incite one of my many weaknesses. What about you all, did you get any goodies this weekend? I also caught a bit of the Soul Train awards last night and it was soothing to my soul. I love real music and wonderfully talented artists who deliver great performances. The Goddess that is Erykah Badu hosted the awards and she is just mind-blowing, and utterly refreshing. I love her spirit so much, and I also saw that Jill Scott my other boo was recognized that evening as well. Two of my absolute favorites, needless to say that I went to bed feeling all is right with the world.
As for this outfit, I felt the need for color and found this forgotten jumpsuit in one of my suitcases (I know I am terrible about unpacking). I love that it still fit well and I remain a fan of the tailoring. With Chirstmas around the corner, I thought I’d begin sharing a few holiday wardrobe ideas so stay tuned over the next few weeks. As for the necklace, I bought this piece to wear with one of my “wedding week” dresses and haven’t worn it since. I was happy to reconnect with this old friend.
