It feels like I’ve neglected you all for a few days but its just been a rather busy week! In any case, I’ve finally had a chance to upload these photos! I love this look sooo much! I’m also very proud of it because, I picked this dress up @TJMaxx, ( it was apart of their runway collection where they sell high-end brands). It was about 2 sizes too big, but I got it tailored and now it fits perfectly!
I love shopping with a vision and finding things that are valuable but don’t always appear magical upon first inspection! Many, if not most people would have abandoned this piece after seeing that it was two sizes too big and to be fair, it did not look like much sitting on that lonely hanger. Yet, I was able to get it transformed by the hands of my great tailor. Sometimes, you have to get creative and reimagine a piece for what it could be rather than what it is. - I do subscribe to wearing sparkly dresses all-year-round, but as today is November 1st, it’s officially Sparkly season, and I was to see everyone go HAM.
- Cut-outs are back in a major way… it’s a revival of the early 2000’s and if you’re like me you remember these trends vividly.
- I’ve always been a fan of socks & pumps! It can add a really playful/funky touch to your outfit.
