Happy Hump Day!
I’ve been sitting on this post for a few days now because I just couldn’t bring myself to think of anything but the murder of Nipsey Hussle. It really dampened my spirits and I had to sit with that emotion for a little bit. Posting photos somehow seemed disrespectful to his memory because I was mourning one of our young leaders and wanted to be still. I am still devastated by the physical loss of this individual but after a few days of processing I realized that he isn’t gone after all. If we instill many of the things that he was trying to accomplish within our day to day lives then he will forever be apart of us. We simply must not allow his memory to die.
I wish everyone much peace and love and the understand that life is so precious and can be taken from us any minute. Take advantage of the gift of life and make everyday the best it can possibly be.
*** On a more trivial note, I hope you all like this very feminine take on my yellow suit! I love the billowy sleeves and it’s effortlessness!
