Happy Hump Day!
It’s a pretty fantastic day when I get to say that I finally own a Moncler Jacket! I’ve wanted one of these since I was in college but couldn’t afford it. So I waited until the time was right and dove in for the purchase. Oddly enough, it wasn’t as satisfying as I thought it would be; maybe because I’ve outgrown some of my childish wants/thoughts, but it still feels good to work hard and be able to attain something that I desire. Waiting until the time is right and when you can comfortably purchase something without feeling guilty or leaving other things un-attended.
Today is my office Christmas party and I’m looking forward to recapping this monumental year we’ve had as a company. Professionally, it’s been one of the best years of my career and I look forward to seeing even more growth in 2019. 10+ years in advertising and I can still say that I have a lot more to learn, but with each passing year I continue to improve and become better. Cheers to the reflection that will happen over the Holidays, make sure you tell yourself how proud you are of YOU because there is at least one thing you can be proud of. Don’t short change yourself, even if it’s simply having kept yourself alive and surviving to see another year. That’s an accomplishment that many did not succeed at doing. Remember the glass is always half full.
