Happy Hump Day!
My eyes are burning as I type this; I don’t think I have been this tired in quite a while. I have been burning the midnight oil on both ends and it’s starting to show. Bags… I REPEAT BAGS, the likes of which I have never witnessed have appeared under my eyes and this morning they were sitting upright and staring right at me. As if YELLING, YOU NEED SOME REST GIRL! But they are wrong…
I actually need more than rest, I need a vacation. A long, lazy, I am going to do absolutely nothing vacation, where I can forget who I am for a moment in time and thrust myself into some other reality. That time is coming, I cannot wait for January to get here. I wear these colors to bring me joy until my trip approaches. I used to pray to God to be busy, highly professional, valued, and challenged… Oh man, has he delivered! I would never say anything besides Thank You to God for this life; but I’d caution you all to be careful what you wish for because we serve an awesome God and he likes to show out so when he sends blessings, you’d best be ready!
On a lighter note, how amazing is this coat and these snake print boots! I cannot get enough of either of them and look forward to creating more beautiful outfits with them.
