Happy Sunday!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I’ve been home nursing a sick baby all weekend, I missed church and everything! It’s so crazy how life gets put on hold when your kid becomes ill. Sometimes God puts specific things in your path to tell you that you need to slow down; I think that’s the case this weekend because Lord knows I needed the rest. Here is a quick look from last week, it’s perfect for a day like today or for a nice brunch date with the girls. I’ve been asked how I am maintaining my weight and I wish I could say I continue to work out 4 days a week (gosh, I miss those days); but the truth is, I am down to about 2 days a week and some weeks I don’t get to go at all. My sole cardio has been running back and forth to the kitchen and up the stairs and everywhere else that Allegra’s two feet takes her where I run to follow. Interestingly enough, this seems to work better than the treadmill; who knew? I can’t stay too long because there is a runny nose staring at me as I type but I wish you guys a wonderful Sunday, be sure to make it count.

P.s. – if you have any great remedies for getting a cold off the chest, do list them in the comment section! Appreciate you!

  1. My mama’s Recipe: Square canfa; grind cinnamon powder; vicks(baby strength); soft candle and a little Vaseline. Mix all ingredients into a paste. Place mixture on large piece of brown paper then warm over stove. After, apply warm on chest and back (keep in place with a piece of comfy cloth).

You can also use fever grass to make a tea for her and sweeten accordingly.
