Hi-Yo,
For the past 8 years, I have been able to get up and go to work and feel a sense of fulfillment. Not because of what I do necessarily, (although I have had some really great moments and excellent triumphs in my work), but mostly because of the wonderful people that I get to work with. The mere fact that I could say “I love my job” was a success unto itself which many do not get to experience. I have found that life will always be what you make of it, but there is so much more satisfaction when you get to go through it with amazing people around you.
After 8 years, it is bitter-sweet that I have decided to make my departure from a place that was truly my home away from home. I have developed into the mature, responsible, trusting and sometimes goofy adult that I am today. I have been able to sore to great heights, ride a cool wave, and most importantly; I have been able to build a beautiful, fulfilling life and career from the work that I have done at this beautiful place. I move on to another really exciting challenge (one of which you guys can help me with and will soon hear about), but I will never forget the place that raised me. Brought me through young adulthood, helped to shape my views, and most importantly showed me what entrapments to stay away from. Somehow, with all the crazy parties and wild events, I managed to come out SOBER (Hampton’s House you’ll always have a special place in my heart).
Sometimes in life you will come across a group of people who either change you for the better or for the worse. I am lucky in that I can safely say that this group and many others (not pictured) have changed me for the better. They’ve pushed me, they have challenged me, they have annoyed the hello out of me, yet they have helped me to grow and develop and I’ll always LOVE them for that.
So to Undertone: Mazel Tov, Salud, Thanks for everything and I’m certain I’ll be seeing you.
As for my outfit, for my farewell lunch I donned the article of clothing I am most synonymous with, my Fedora Hat. I paired it with a beautiful fitted dress and borrowed my husband’s jacket to shelter from the slight chill in the air. As always outfit deets are listed below.
Thanks and have a wonderful Monday!
