One more day before the weekend and I’m already anxious for it to get here. Thankfully we get Summer Friday’s at work so I get to pop out a bit early to start my personal time. I wore this ensemble to a client meeting/conference the other day. I love the dress but I had momentarily considered cutting off those unnecessary black straps because I found them to be distracting. After further consideration, I decided against it; citing that they were there for adornment purposes and to keep the dress interesting. I paired them with these Cavalli sandals, and thankfully I didn’t have a lot of walking to do because that snake embellishment was on the attack scratching my ankles bit by bit. I’ve begun to walk with flats to assist with the harshness of NYC streets. I always choose a chic alternative because harsh streets are no excuse to appear less pulled together.
