Hello Friday!

I’m loving these PVC sandals, the color, the straps and especially the heels. I see us becoming close this summer. I’ve recognized a slight pattern in my dressing, whenever I feel lazy I go for the easiest outfits, also known as the crop top combination. Pairing it with a fitted skirt, or pleated skirt in this case and the occasional boyfriend jeans. The Last time I wore this skirt was about a year ago seen here, and surprise surprise it was with another cropped top. I really owe it to myself to be more creative. When uniforms work, we tend to reach for the things that are most natural. However, doing this can sometimes make us complacent and I cannot think of a nastier word than complacent. I had a friend who used to say, “I’d rather be a struggling artist than a complacent bank teller”. Any profession could apply really, the point is that I’d rather be moving forward than staying stagnant. This weekend, I promise to step out of my comfort zone and go for something less Alicia and more adventurous.

How about you guys, do you find it easy to step outside of your comfort zone? Do you do it often? I have be fortunate to experience the magic when I muster up the courage to step outside of those walls.
