“Ah, this is for the cool…This is for the cool in you, This is for the chill in you”

Hi-Yo,

So, I was having a conversation with a few of my girlfriends the other day, and they found it a little difficult to understand how I wear heels so often especially with the cold front and the amount of snow we had this year. Naturally, as all good friends should do, they regularly check out my blog posts and was like… “seriously, does this chick not get cold”. On the contrary my loves, I hate the cold and I am slightly anemic so I am always freezing. Nonetheless, I thought it was about time to dispel a few illusions that may be drawn from my pics. Whenever I can conceivably wear heels to work/play/everywhere, I do. They just make everything look better. However, I also invest in comfortable and good looking flats for my commute to work; this way you can still keep the integrity and chicness of the outfit. Take this outfit for example, my commute started in flats and once I was out of harms way (i.e. slipping and falling in the snow) I quickly changed into my heels.

Two Things:

1. This lipstick is Wet & Wild, no seriously it is! I couldn’t believe it myself…

2. As you can see I am still wearing my Blurred lines earrings, when I love something I wear it to death; however, I forgot to mention that there is a 10% off coupon that you can redeem once you got to the site, so head on over and get you some savings!

P.s. – In case you were interested, I never wear sneakers to work and I never leave my heels at work, in the famous words of THE Carrie Bradshaw – “I like my money right where I can see it, hanging in my closet”
