Hey Friends,

I love the way that a motor-jacket can take an impossibly conservative/understated look and pump up the cool factor. This is exactly what happened in this pairing. I love integrating simple elements into my outfits to change the entire vibe of the look. I don’t wear very much jewelry so I often find other things to accent my outfit. Sometimes too much jewelry can look gaudy and overly fussy which I do not like. The truth is that I often can’t find many of the pieces I own or i’m running impossibly late so I don’t have the time. However, I do admire those women who I see wearing a ton of jewelry and instead of overwhelming the look it accentuates their outfit quite well. Hats, scarves, jackets, lipstick, they can all do the same thing as jewelry if worn well.

I paired this somewhat monochrome look with my new favorite booties. I scored them on sale and I have been quite happy with the purchase. The cap toe, and croc features add some funk to the look. My magazine clutch still continues to be in rotation.

I do hope you all enjoy the pics!
