What a perfectly flirty yet edgy outfit for a Valentine’s Day dinner! I absolutely adore this skirt, it is so much fun and has a lot of movement. As you can tell by the pics I had a lot of fun shimmying in it. I love the addition of the leopard blazer as I thought it added some edge and toughness.
I always find it interesting when I get compliments on an outfit that is the result of one of my ‘I Have Nothing to Wear’ moments! Trying things on and playing around with different color schemes and pieces in your wardrobe is a great way to understand what works and what doesn’t. It’s also an awesome way to fall in love with your clothes again because if your closet is anything like mine, you have stuff all over the place and can hardly remember the pieces you bought last month. Getting dressed should always be fun, if it feels like work it takes the joy out of it! Also, never taking yourself too seriously!
What did you love birds do for Valentine’s Day? I am definitely looking forward to the long weekend and hope to have even more inspiration to share in the coming week.
Until next time!

You look great! I love the skirt and I am a sucker for anything with shimmy. I stayed in with the hubby last night and he cooked. I was more than thrilled with that.
